Make the occasion even more romantic by having a bottle of chilled beverage at the ready, a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers, and a box of gourmet chocolates. Please email or call ahead to plan this package, and we’ll work out all the details with you. Cost is $100 in addition to the price of the room.
Let’s Talk Bikes!
Clarke County and the surrounding area is quickly becoming known as a bicycling destination, and we love to accommodate all you hearty souls. Several local bike tours occur throughout the year, but if you just want to ride on wonderful backcountry roads, we have some ideas for you–anything from 10 or 15 miles to work out the kinks to 50 miles or more for serious training. Call us to talk about your interests, and we will have some suggestions.
Appalachian Trail Hiking
Cost: $75 per couple in addition to room priceBring your favorite walking stick and enjoy the views from our nearby Appalachian Trail. Walk a mile or all 14 miles of a section called “The Rollercoaster”. This scenic route skirts along the Blue Ridge Mountains between VA Rt. 7 and US Rt. 50. At Bears Den Scenic Rock, stop for a while to take in the stunning view of the Shenandoah Valley. With this package we will provide a prepared lunch with water. Upon request, we can also provide drop-off and pick-up. Minimum two-night stay is required.
Rent the Entire Inn
Cost: VariesPlan a weekend with your friends and family at our inn. May we suggest a wine-tasting tour, a scrapbooking weekend, tour of our farm art studio, or perhaps shopping at local antique stores.
